Shoei Seisakusho Inc. are a small, exclusive Japanese manufacturer, specialising in ultra realistic World War 2 era rifle models.
This is a pre-order for their long awaited, dummy round cycling, Maschinenpistole 40, or MP40 model, as used by the German infantry and paratroopers from 1939 - 1945.
This is not an airsoft gun; it is a ultra realistic, super high quality replica of the real steel model, which has the ability to cycle dummy cartridges from the magazine, into the bolt assembly and also eject manually. It is not capable of firing any kind of projectile and is not powered by any source of propellant like gas, air or batteries.
It is an exercise in precision CNC machining, authentic material matching and finishing with exquisite attention to detail in terms of component dimension, weight and feel. It represents the closest possible recreation of the real firearm in a model form, perfect for collectors, display purposes or reenactors.
AirsoftEire have a close relationship with Shoei Seisakusho, giving us access to these very limited rifles, parts and support.
The major components of the barrel, receiver, bolt, pistol grip and trigger system and made from a zinc/aluminium alloy. The other components will use accurate materials to match the finish of a brand new MP40, during the WW2 period.
Pictures of the components and the component molds are displayed in the gallery. The finished product has no images available just yet, we will attach them once they are made available. The MP40 is actively in production and set for release in 2025.
A note on price. As of November 2024, Shoei has announced that the retail price is somewhat open ended due to rising costs. Expect a price anywhere between €1000-€1250.
The expected release is now Summer 2025.
