• The Mauser Karabiner 98k is a bolt-action rifle that served as the primary German service rifle from the mid 1930's until the end of WW2 in 1945. It continued to see use throughout the 20th century and is held in high regard as one of the best bolt action rifles of all time.
• This is about the most authentic Kar98k you will find, this beautifully finished model is accurate in nearly every way to the iconic Karabiner 98k rifle.
  
• Exceptionally solid construction, with real wood stock and a beautiful grain unique to each gun, complete with full metal scope.

• Very heavy just like the real steel, coming in at 4.2kg.
  
• As you would expect at this price point, the rifle ships in its own imitation wood cargo case. Made from tough ABS, the case offers great protection for the rifle and a suitably fine display piece for collectors.
• The rifle comes wrapped in authentic wax paper, which is further wrapped in plastic.
• All other components are metal, including the barrel, front sight assembly, front and rear sling attachments, trigger guard assembly, bolt handle, scope and the entire upper receiver and rear sight assembly.
• The magazines are unique, made to look like a stripper crip and a bunch of 7.92mm rounds combined. This unit is made from quality plastic and holds approximately 20 rounds.
• Note that the rifle will not fire the last 4 BBs or so, this is normal.
• Spring powered operation, so no gas or batteries required. Load your BBs into the magazine, slide the magazine door button on the rifle to the side and swing the door downwards to insert the magazine. Lift up and pull back on the bolt handle to prime the piston. Push the bolt forwards and down and pull the trigger to fire.
• The Kar98k has a unique open bolt style loading mechanism to replicate the design of the original as closely as possible.
