- Cut for the distinct VFC-spec receiver design that APS utilizes.
- TM-spec receivers use a completely different rear tang mounting system. The APS stock will not fit them without extensive dremeling and modification.
- Brands that use a VFC-pattern stamped receiver clone share a closer structural architecture to APS.
- Even within the same pattern, wood-to-metal tolerances vary wildly, meaning shaving or sanding the mounting block of the stock is usually necessary:
- CYMA (VFC-Spec Models): High-end stamped steel CYMA models (like the CM040, CM045, or CM048 series) utilize the VFC build layout.
- LCT Airsoft: Known for tight, robust steel receiver dimensions; you will likely need to sand down the wooden mounting wedge of the stock to get it to slide into an LCT receiver.
- E&L Airsoft: E&L receivers use thick steel. The stock will usually require hand-fitting/sanding.
