  • The S&W Model 686 is an L Frame revolver that was designed by legendary wheel gun makers, Smith & Wesson.
  • The Model 686 did see service notably with the French GIGN and the United States Navy SEALs during amphibious operations, the United States Border Patrol's legacy U.S. Customs Services, and some marine police departments due to the Model 686 being made of Stainless Steel.
  • The ARES S&W 686 is Ares' first gas airsoft pistol in the form of a CO2-powered revolver.
  • The ARES S&W 686 has a TDC style hop and can be adjusted with an Allen key, this greatly increases the hit probability, gone are the days of closing the distance on your airsoft foes (Unless you go for the snub nose, then you still probably have to).
  • This advantage outshines most revolvers in the market, so if you join a revolver-only game with this, you know you have range and accuracy on your side!
  • Other than having a proper Hop Up system, Ares kept what revolver enthusiasts like about airsoft revolvers, the removable shells.
  • These shells are made with fantastic attention to detail, which each metal dummy round looking exactly like a real hollow point bullet. The the tip is made of rubber making a tight seal to the BB; right under it is a copper tip and below that, an aluminum casing. A full moon clip is included with the shells allowing for easy and faster reloads.
  • One of the standout features of the ARES S&W 686 are the textured real walnut wood grips which look fantastic. Note that the real wood finish can vary, some grips have a light wood finish, others are darker.
  • The revolver is full metal construction with high-quality electroplating: stainless steel finishing.
  • Simple Installation of CO2 inside the removable grip panel, a handy allen tool is included.
  • Includes a hard blue pistol case for storage and transport.
