- 144a gas is recommended for all Maruzen pistols. Green gas can be used, but only in temperatures below 10*C. Do not use green gas in temperatures above this limit.
- Adjustable hop-up is accessed by removing the slide from the frame.
- Ambidextrous disassembly lever and magazine release.
- Thanks to the ABS slide, the Maruzen P-99 has a nice crisp and snappy blowback.
