Do not leave chargers plugged in unattended or for excessive periods i.e. overnight - disconnect once charging is complete.
User manual: -
 - Connect 1 battery (NiMH or Ni-Cd) with 4~10 cells and Tamiya male plug to the Tamiya female connector of the battery.
 - Make sure the male plug is properly connected.
 - Connect the charger to a power socket.
 - The LED will flash red while the batteries are charging, full red blocks indicate progression of charge. 
 - Disconnect the charger and the batteries from the electrical outlet after charging is complete.
