Produced between roughly 1984 and 2006 the HRM vest had a modular design, using Velcro, snap fasteners, and zippers to allow pouches for magazines, grenades, tactical tools, radios, ballistic plates, and other equipment to be mounted to the vest.
This differed from early ballistic vests of the era that often had fixed sewn-in pouches and pockets.
All pouches can be removed and placed for personal preference.
Offers great bb strike protection during CQB as the vest itself is padded.
The velcro-fastened parts can be secured into place by the snap buttons.
The mag pouches hold a variety of magazines, from MP5 to AK47.
There is also a place to store a communications device, and a pouch for general items. (Radio not included).
